Nursing Informatics
The purpose of this job is to prepare, educate and provide technical support to nursing staff on the EHR. Also, work to develop technology systems by customizing Meditech for best use within our facility. Responsible for dictionary build, maintenance and quarterly updates of the EHR. Also responsible for validating Meaningful Use Measures and make changes or improvements as necessary.
Education: Graduation from an accredited school of Registered Nursing with current licensure by the State Board of Nursing. BSN preferred but not required. BLS cert is required. Must have 3-5 years clinical experience in acute care areas and previous experience with the Meditech system.
