Infusion Services

This program offers Intravenous (IV) medications for Outpatients.

Examples of conditions that require IV medications are:

Osteoporosis
Arthritis
Immunodeficiency disorders
Iron Replacement
Blood conditions (low hemoglobin, low red blood cells, and low white blood cells)
Chrome's Disease
Ulcerative Colitis
Psoriasis
Infectious disease (IV antibiotics)

Treatment Plan/Health Management

A valid prescription or referral is required for medications. Infusion services are offered in the outpatient setting of Bacon County Hospital. Duration of therapy and infusion times vary per prescription.

All infusions are subject to pharmacist guided protocols for monitoring and adjustments. PRN (or as needed) prescriptions will not be accepted for infusion services.
