Bacon County Hospital and Health System, including Bacon County Community Care Center, Nicholls Family Healthcare, and South Georgia Physicians Group, will be network providers and will accept Ambetter Health effective January 1, 2019.

Open enrollment on the Healthcare Insurance Marketplace, or Exchange, for 2018 began on November 1st and will end on December 15th.

Many members of our community are currently covered by a Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) of Georgia 'Pathways' plan from the Marketplace. In 2019, BCBS of Georgia will no longer offer these plans. However, Ambetter Health is offering several levels of plan options for enrollment on the Marketplace.

Bacon County Hospital and Health System encourages both those currently covered by a BCBS of Georgia 'Pathways' plan and those without insurance to research the coverage options available to them for 2019 on the Marketplace and to enroll by the December 15th deadline.
